About Junyi

Born in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, Junyi is a singer-songwriter and keyboardist who graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2023 with a degree in songwriting.

As a new generation Chinese singer-songwriter, Junyi wants to inspire listeners with the emotional melodies and stories in his lyrics. Having studied classical piano since she was 4 years old, Junyi has been exposed to a variety of instruments and musical styles while growing up. In addition to piano, she is also proficient on alto saxophone, flute, guitar, and drum set. Influenced by C-Pop artists such as JJ Lin and G.E.M., Junyi has been writing her own original songs since high school, and her passion for pop music and songwriting has led her to professional music studies. As of 2023, Junyi has written over 20 original songs and is preparing to release her latest EP "Bright Star" to commemorate her studies at Berklee.

In addition to songwriting, Junyi is also an experienced classical piano teacher. With over 18 years of piano study and over 3 years of piano teaching experience, Junyi is well known among her students for tailoring her lessons to fit their needs.
